Overview
Welcome to Spanish at Hills Road!
Congratulations on finishing your GCSEs and here’s hoping you will enjoy the long summer break. Don’t forget all about your chosen subjects, though! By the time you start your Spanish lessons here in September, it will have been some time since you took your GCSE; your language skills could get a little rusty unless you keep them going.
The work
It will be enormously helpful to you and us if you do all of the following over the summer holidays, to keep up your practice and give you confidence when you start. The work we have set you has two main objectives:
- To give a bit of information about yourself and your interest in Spanish
- To help you become familiar with aspects of Hispanic culture that will be important in your learning journey in Y1.

1/ Haz el cuestionario respondiendo las preguntas.
2/ Abre el link sobre la dieta mediterránea y haz las ocho actividades sobre la dieta española. ¡Que aproveche!
3/ Abre el link sobre Chichen Itza y haz la actividad correspondiente.
4/ Abre el link de Videoele sobre El Camino de Santiago, escucha el video y haz las actividades de la guía didáctica y las actividades interactivas.
5/ Ves a la biblioteca más cercana y escoge una película española o latinoamericana; mírala y escribe un parágrafo (4-5 líneas) explicando:
a/ De que trata la película
b/ Porque (no) te gusta
