Open Evenings for admission to Hills in 2020
Our Open Evenings for current Y11s were held in June 2019. If you are from a CAP
school, then please do attend the post-16 evening at your school during September and October 2019, as Hills Road staff will be available to speak to.
Open Evenings for admission to Hills in 2021
You are invited to attend our Open Evenings (for entry in September 2021) on Monday 22nd and Tuesday 23rd June 2020, from 5pm to 9pm.
All Year 10s are welcome, and there is no need to book.
Talks by the Principal and students are in the main hall of the Sports and Tennis Centre at 6pm, 7pm and 8pm to give you a little taster of life at Hills Road.
Staff and students will be on hand to show you the facilities and answer any questions you may have about their subject areas.
Our student ambassadors and guides will accompany you to your chosen areas around the College – make sure you ask them about student life here at Hills!
Throughout the evenings, you can enjoy performances from our Chamber Choir, Brass Quintet, Chamber Orchestra and Live@Hills.
There will be a variety of drama and dance performances, as well as masterclasses where you are invited to join in. Please don’t be shy.
As well as an art exhibition showcasing students work, you can also enjoy students Extended Projects where students had the freedom and time to explore an idea that interested them; something they felt passionate about. The display includes a selection of the students' final pieces.
Both the restaurant and café will be serving hot and cold drinks and other light refreshments.
We regret there is NO car parking on site (except for disabled visitors, please book in advance by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org).
NCP parking is available on Clifton Way (CB1 7GX), which is a 5-minute walk from the College.
There will be a limited number of car parking spaces at Homerton College, via Harrison Drive (off Hills Road). Spaces are limited.
We recommend avoiding travelling to the College by car. The Clifton Road car park and surrounding roads get congested very quickly.
By public transport
We would strongly advise you to use public transport to travel to the College.
The College is a 10-15 minute walk from the train station, and it is on Stagecoach's Citi 1 and Citi 7 bus routes.

There is ample cycle parking at the rear of the College accessed via Purbeck Road.
We look forward to meeting you on 22nd and 23rd June.
