We are pleased to share Hills Road's first ever Impact Report, highlighting the difference that grants, donations and sponsorship have made to students and the wider College community over the past 12 months.
From supporting student enrichment and sporting achievements to enhancing learning resources and sustainability initiatives, the report showcases the range of opportunities made possible through the generosity of external support.
Highlights of the report include the Bursary Extra Fund, which supported 27 students with additional activities and enrichment opportunities, and funding that enabled 54 students to compete at the Association of Colleges Sport National Championships. The report also features Social Action Week and projects to improve the College environment and promote sustainability.
The fundraising initiative at Hills Road is led by Liz Brinsdon, Development Director, who joined the College in 2024. The creation of the role reflects the College's increasing focus on building relationships with alumni, supporters and the wider community to support its future development.
Liz explains, "At Hills Road, we are committed to providing high-quality education and opportunities for our students. However, state funding only goes so far, and there is an increasing gap between our resources and our aspirations. We are therefore encouraging alumni, parents and the wider Cambridge community to consider supporting the College through donations, grants or sponsorship."

Former students can also stay connected through our Hills Road Alumni Network, where they can explore events, read alumni stories, reconnect with former classmates and share their own experiences.
