If you would like to apply to Hills Road but do not have UK qualifications or their equivalents, or have fewer than eight GCSEs, please follow the guidance below to help you make your application.
Every applicant must satisfy the Entry Criteria as set out in our Admissions Policy.
If you think you may not meet one or more of these requirements, please read the information on this page carefully. We may still be able to consider your application, depending on your individual circumstances.
Examples of non-standard applicants:
We will look at each application individually and consider your circumstances alongside the strength of applications we receive that year.
We are unable to advise on the likelihood of you receiving an offer before you have submitted an application. For this reason, please do not send evidence or supporting documents to the Admissions Team unless we specifically ask for them.
Simply submit an application. We will then review your application and any relevant circumstances as part of our standard admissions process and in line with the College Admissions Policy.
If you are unable to provide predicted grades before the January application deadline, we generally recommend applying during Post-results in August. This is because we can assess your application using your confirmed GCSE results, which often provides a clearer and fairer picture of your academic achievement.
Applications submitted without predicted grades by 12 January 2027 will not be progressed, unless you have notified us to confirm when your grades will be provided.
