The programme is suitable for students who can read and write Hiragana and Katakana confidently and who have just started to learn Kanji.

The Japanese Lower Intermediates course is suitable for students who have already studied Japanese for approximately two years. Students need to be able to read and write Hiragana and Katakana confidently, and who have learnt approximately 120 Kanji.
