Get into Poetry 3 Day Summer School

This course covers the history of Late Medieval and Tudor England. It is designed for students who have no particular expertise in the subject but simply wish to learn about the history of this country in a structured, rigorous, fashion. So, if you missed out on History at school or enjoy reading historical fiction and visiting castles and cathedrals then this is the course for you! 
Lessons will be taught in college but students will also be able to access them online

The Illustration course is ideal for anyone interested in developing their creativity and drawing skills. We cover many aspects of illustration, such as character design and picture books. If students have some basic drawing and painting experience, that’s great, but it’s not essential!

The Introduction to Philosophy course is designed for anyone interested in philosophy and the big questions that shape how people think, live and make sense of the world.  No prior philosophical knowledge is assumed.

Students on the Introduction to Philosophy course will be introduced to core areas of philosophy.  The first part of the course focuses on ethics, values and politics and examines questions such as the nature of goodness, ethics and AI, and the nature of justice.  The second part of the course focuses on metaphysics and epistemology and covers questions such as how we know what we know and the nature of consciousness. The Introduction to Philosophy course is designed for anyone interested in philosophy and the big questions that shape how people think, live and make sense of the world.
