Adult Education courses

The Intermediates course is suitable for students who have studied Italian for two years.

The Lower Improvers course is suitable for students who have already studied Italian for one year or who have completed approximately 60 hours of tuition.

The Upper Improvers course is suitable for students who have already studied Italian for approximately two years.

The Advanced course is suitable for students who have already studied Japanese for approximately two or three years. Students need to be able to read and write Hiragana and Katakana confidently, and who have learnt approximately 150 Kanji.

The Beginners Level 1 course is designed for students who have no previous knowledge of Japanese.

The Beginners Level 2 course is suitable for students who have already studied Japanese for one term or who have completed approximately 20 hours of tuition.

The Japanese Beginners Level 3 course is suitable for students who have already studied Japanese for two terms or who have completed approximately 40 hours of tuition.

The Language Taster Day courses are designed for students who would like to get a flavour of a new language.

The Level 3 Certificate in Counselling is a one-year course for students wanting to achieve the next level in Counselling training
