    About the course

The Italian Beginners Level 1 course, based at our Cambridge campus, focuses on a communicative approach and aims to develop the skills of listening, reading, speaking and writing in a foreign language. The programme aims to enable students to understand and use Italian effectively for purposes of practical communication.

This course feeds into Beginners Level 2 in the next term.

Italian Beginners Level 1 introduces students to the Italian language and culture in a fun and effective way. Each session will include a range of learning activities, including work in pairs and groups so that students practise new vocabulary and linguistic structures in a lively and varied way. The main emphasis of the course is to develop students' confidence in communicating effectively in Italian.
