Student life

The campus

There are a variety of different spaces available to use across the College’s campus. Whether you’re looking for a quiet space to study, sports facilities or an area to socialise in, we’ve got it covered.

Study and social spaces

The College provides many purposeful spaces where students can work autonomously, collaborate on group projects and socialise with each other. These include the library, the zone, open-access resource areas, the café and much more!

The Study Centre

Our Study Centre is a dedicated learning space for all students, with specialist facilities for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. These include a low-sensory study area, silent study space and seminar room. Our Study Skills team are also based in the Centre.

The Library

A purposeful learning environment for silent study with a fantastic range of resources, including digital subscriptions to online journals and information as well as regularly updated book stock.

Sports facilities

You can take advantage of some of the best sports facilities in East Anglia at the College – they’re here for all our students to use! These include a brilliant Sports and Tennis Centre with newly refurbished gym and access to nine-acres of sports field on Luard Road.

Performing Arts and Music

The College has its own Robinson Theatre which is a dedicated space for students to practice and perform, with the latest lighting and sound technology. There are also two Dance studios, which have sprung floors and mirrors.

Musicians have access to a wide array of practice spaces, from small rooms for individuals and small ensembles to large spaces for group practise.

I sometimes struggle with motivation trying to revise at home; the quiet Study areas really help me to focus on my work

The library is great for studying as there are so many resources and the library team is always there to help

I think the café is great! The menu is both affordable and creative
