Year 12 students dive into DNA to test food authenticity

mock interviews Held across the course of the day, fifty interview slots were quickly filled by enthusiastic students eager to gain practical experience.

Each student participated in a professional-style job interview, providing them with valuable insights into the interview process, enhancing their communication skills, and giving them real-world practice.

The aim was to help Year 13s in building their confidence for future opportunities when pursuing employment: whether they wish to take those next steps via university, a gap year, an apprenticeship or something else. In November, the team also organised 270 mock entry interviews in November for students who are applying to university.

<p>Led by a neuroscientist who is also a qualified yoga teacher, the Yoga and the Mind 10-week course helps students improve flexibility, reduce stress, regulate their nervous system and strengthen the mind–body connection. Each session blends gentle yoga with psychoeducation about how the brain and body work together to support wellbeing.  </p>
