This course aims to provide revision and extension for those who have passed AS level or achieved a broadly equivalent standard of language skill, and for those who wish to go further without the immediate prospect of examination.
The course concentrates on active language use and on the reinforcement of grammatical elements covered during the AS course. The course employs a communicative approach and students will have the maximum opportunity to participate in the class through role plays, debates, expressing their views etc. The course will also give attention to aspects of the history, economy and culture of Spanish-speaking countries.
Gladys Sánchez Ray
Gladys Sánchez Ray was born in Argentina, and her family on her father's side came from Spain and on her mother's from Italy, so she is a native speaker of Italian and Spanish. Gladys Sanchez Ray has completed a course in the Italian language at the University of Florence, where she lived for seven years. She obtained the Certificate of Education franchised by Anglia Ruskin University in 2006. She has taught Italian and Spanish at various levels since 2004.
