Japanese Lower Intermediates

Japanese Lower Intermediates

This course will suit people who have already studied Japanese for over two years or who have studied the textbook "Japanese For Busy People 2" up to lesson 4, and can be read and write hiragana, katakana and about 60 kanji (numbers, days of the week, some adjectives and some verbs). The aim of the course is to develop your confidence and ability to communicate effectively and express opinions in authentic situations such as social occasions and everyday conversation. Students are expected to be confident using hiragana and katakana as well as kanji. The focus of the course is on all four skills, particularly speaking, listening and reading. Basic grammar will be explained to help understand the structure of the language.

The course book is "Japanese for Busy People 2" Revised 3rd Edition (AJALT - Association for Japanese Language Teaching / ISBN 978-4-7700-3010-8).
