This is a course for those with previous knowledge who wish to practise their spoken French at a more sustained level.
The course employs a communicative approach and aims to develop in particular the skills of reading, listening and speaking in the foreign language. It enables students to understand and use French effectively for purposes of practical communication, to show an understanding of French grammar and to offer considerable insights into the culture of French-speaking countries.
