We're wishing you alll the best Lilla and Thea!

Two former Hills Road students will return to Cambridge this month to play against Cambridge University’s first team (CURUFC) on the rugby pitch.

Lilla Berry is on the side of Oxford University, while Thea Sylvester plays for Brunel University. They will both face-up against the CURUFC at Grange Road base.

Lilla, who is Oxford University’s rugby team’s social secretary, will shortly be playing at the Varsity Match in March, which she unfortunately had to miss last year due to an injury.

Thea, on the other hand, has reportedly paired up with several other teams and academies, outside of her university responsibilities.

We wish both of you all the best of luck in your matches and the rest of your time at the University! We can’t wait to hear more about your activities and successes!

To see these girls continue their rugby development at University and in top clubs is extremely gratifying and I am immensely proud of them. To see some of them playing back here in Cambridge will be very special.

Adrian Medd, Hills Road rugby coach.
