Hills Road Sixth Form College is proud to have been awarded AcSEED status, recognising our commitment to supporting the emotional wellbeing and mental health of our students.

The AcSEED Initiative recognises the work of schools and colleges in creating a supportive environment for young people.

At Hills Road, wellbeing is an important part of College life, from our personal tutor system and dedicated wellbeing and counselling support to the activities and resources available to students throughout their time with us.

Our tutorial programme helps students develop resilience, manage stress and learn strategies for looking after their wellbeing. Students can also take part in wellbeing days, with workshops, talks and activities covering a wide range of mental health and wellbeing topics.

We are delighted to receive this recognition and proud of the contribution made by staff and students across the College to creating a community where wellbeing is valued and students feel supported.
