This course is suitable for those of you who want to write fiction, but would value help generating ideas and getting your creativity flowing. Fast moving and fun, the day will be spent completing a series of exercises designed to stimulate your imagination and increase confidence in your story telling abilities. You will leave with your own supply of ideas and approaches to help carry your creative writing forward.
Jo Browning Wroe is a writer and a teacher. She worked in publishing for 12 years before studying at UEA for a Masters in Creative Writing. She writes for educational publishers in the UK and the US and has received awards in both countries. Her most recent project, Graphic Lives, a collaborative project of 3 graphic novels to demystify the therapaeutic process for troubled teenagers was published in by Speechmark. She is Creative Writing Supervisor at Lucy Cavendish College and helps with The Cambridge Literary Festival. Her novel in progress was shortlised for the Bridport Prize at the end of 2017.
