The aim of this course is to develop confidence in understanding and using Russian and to increase students’ knowledge and enjoyment from studying the language and culture of Russia at a higher level.
It is designed for students who have already studied Russian up to GCSE (either recently or perhaps years ago), and for those who have a good grasp of the language or have lived or worked in Russia.
In class we shall concentrate on speaking and listening as well as reading with more reading and written work for weekly homework. A variety of activities will be used throughout the course to cover the necessary grammar and vocabulary for a wide range of topics.
