The Language Taster Day courses are designed for students who would like to get a flavour of a new language.

About the course
Aimed at complete beginners, the Language Taster Day courses are a fascinating introduction to a new language. Students will learn useful vocabulary and phrases and will gain an understanding of basic sentence structure. Pronunciation guidance will also be given.
Students will be able to continue their studies by enrolling for Beginners Level 1 courses in the autumn term.
The Language Taster Day courses have a lively format, with classroom activities including repetition of words and phrases, pair work, group work, role-plays and other mingling activities. There will be a one-hour lunch break between two two-hour teaching sessions.

Russian Beginners Level 1
The Beginners Level 1 course is designed for students who have no previous knowledge of Russian.
Italian Beginners Level 1
The Beginners course is designed for students who have no previous knowledge of Italian.
French Beginners Level 1
The course focuses on a communicative approach and aims to develop the skills of listening, reading, speaking and writing in a foreign language.

Payment
Payment is made in full at the time of booking.
If you are booking a Level 3 or 4 Counselling course, you will be able to pay for this using a Direct Debit, which you will set up before the course starts in September. Please check the relevant course pages for details.
