Arabic for Beginners Summer school courses is designed for students who would like to study for two hours each day over the course of one week.

About the course
The Arabic for Beginners Summer School course is an extended introduction to Arabic. It is suitable for absolute beginners and for those who would like a refresher course. No previous knowledge is assumed.
Summer school courses have a lively format, with a focus on speaking and listening and opportunities for pair work, group work and role-play activities. Students will be given pronunciation guidance and introduced to vocabulary and simple grammar that will help them communicate in certain contexts. There will also be an introduction to the Arabic writing system.
Students will be able to continue their studies by enrolling for Arabic Beginners Level 1 in the autumn term.

Chinese Beginners Level 1
The Chinese Beginners Level 1 course is designed for students who have no previous knowledge of Mandarin Chinese.
Korean Beginners Level 2
The Beginners Level 2 course is suitable for students who have already studied Korean for one term or who have completed approximately 20 hours of tuition.
French Beginners Level 1
The course focuses on a communicative approach and aims to develop the skills of listening, reading, speaking and writing in a foreign language.

Payment
Payment is made in full at the time of booking.
If you are booking a Level 3 or 4 Counselling course, you will be able to pay for this using a Direct Debit, which you will set up before the course starts in September. Please check the relevant course pages for details.
