About the course
The Chinese Beginners Level 1 course primarily develops the skills of speaking and listening. It aims to enable students to communicate effectively in practical situations. This course feeds into Beginners level 2 in the next term and level 3 the following term.
Chinese Beginners Level 1 introduces students to Chinese language and culture in a fun and effective way. Each session will include a range of learning activities, including work in pairs and groups so that students practise new vocabulary and linguistic structures in a lively and varied way. The main emphasis of the course is to develop students' confidence in communicating effectively in Chinese. Students will also be introduced to the Chinese writing system.

The course is a lively and interactive programme which is suitable for students who have studied Easy Steps to Chinese Book 2 up to lesson 13 or are at a similar level.
Arabic Beginners Level 1
The course introduces students to Arabic language and culture in a fun and effective way. Each session will include a range of learning activities, including work in pairs and groups, so that students practise new vocabulary and linguistic structures in a lively and varied way.
Korean Beginners Level 2
The Beginners Level 2 course is suitable for students who have already studied Korean for one term or who have completed approximately 20 hours of tuition.

Payment is made in full at the time of booking.
