About the course
The Introduction to Latin and the Classical World Summer School course is an extended introduction to Latin and the Classical World. It is suitable for absolute beginners and for those who would like a refresher course. No previous knowledge is assumed.
Summer school courses have a lively format. The Introduction to Latin and the Classical World has a focus on reading and translating, with opportunities for pair and group work. Students will gain an understanding of how Latin works and insights into its grammar and sentence structure.
Students will be able to continue their studies by enrolling for Latin Beginners Level 1 in the autumn term.

Arabic Beginners Level 1
The course introduces students to Arabic language and culture in a fun and effective way. Each session will include a range of learning activities, including work in pairs and groups, so that students practise new vocabulary and linguistic structures in a lively and varied way.
German Beginners Level 1
The course is designed for students who have no previous knowledge of German.

Payment is made in full at the time of booking.
