About the course
The Drawing the Basics course is suitable for beginners and anyone wishing to practice and improve their drawing skills. The course takes an in-depth look at basic drawing skills and techniques, and each session concentrates on a particular aspect of drawing.
This course is a perfect introduction for anyone who is new to drawing or wants to improve and practice their drawing skills. Each lesson focuses on a particular aspect of drawing.
Working from observation, you will be introduced to and learn traditional drawing skills (perspective/proportion/tone/line/composition) and more contemporary skills (gesture/blind). Students will also have the opportunity to explore various drawing media and surfaces.

Payment is made in full at the time of booking.
If you are booking a Level 3 or 4 Counselling course, you will be able to pay for this using a Direct Debit, which you will set up before the course starts in September. Please check the relevant course pages for details.
