    About the course

The Chinese Advanced course is suitable for students who have studied Chinese for more than four years, have a good level of speaking and listening and can read and write Chinese characters independently. The course will follow the textbook Easy Steps to Chinese 5. This will be supplemented by authentic written and spoken texts, together with materials developed by the tutor. This course is based at our Cambridge campus.

The Chinese advanced course will develop students' confidence and ability to express opinions and communicate effectively in authentic situations, ranging from formal occasions to everyday interactions. Students will extend their working vocabulary and will gain a greater understanding of Chinese culture and traditions. Formal grammar will also be taught.
