The Level 3 Counselling course consists of three units: Skills, Theory and Developing Reflective Practice in Counselling. The programme is taught over three terms and is the second stage of a professional counselling training programme.

About the course

The Level 3 Certificate in Counselling course is relevant to those who have completed the Certificate in Counselling Skills and Theory or an equivalent qualification. You will need to have gained a minimum of 60 Guided Learning hours.

The course consists of three mandatory units:

  • Counselling Skills 
  • Counselling Theory
  • Developing Reflective Practice in Counselling
