We are looking for an experienced part-time coach to coach our College Women Rugby team. This involves working with another coach alongside the team captain, running preseason trials, team coaching and selecting squads. The teams play in AoC Sport leagues and Cup as well as Regional tournaments, National Finals and the Rosslyn Park 7’s tournament.
Salary: £25.55 p.h.
Contract: Fixed term, part time from 21/08/2025 to 10/04/2026

We are looking for an experienced part-time coach to coach our College Women Rugby team. This involves working with another coach alongside the team captain, running pre-season trials, team coaching and selecting squads. The teams play in AoC Sport leagues and Cup as well as Regional tournaments, National Finals and the Rosslyn Park 7’s tournament.
The successful applicant must hold a minimum Level 2 coaching qualification and possess a full driving licence held for at least two years, with no more than three penalty points. Driving a minibus to weekly fixtures is a key part of the role and full training will be provided if necessary. Additionally, candidates must hold a current first Aid at work or equivalent Level 3 first aid qualification. If this is not already in place, the successful applicant will be required to complete the necessary training upon appointment.
The post is a fixed–term contract starting on 21st August 2025 and to 10th April 2026. However, if the season extends into the summer term, then payment will be made for the additional sessions.
The Sport Department at Hills Road Sixth Form College is highly successful. It works in a supportive environment which values academic as well as sporting excellence. There are three members of teaching staff delivering A level Physical Education, two support staff and a further 11 part time staff that contribute to the delivery of the College Sports and Enrichment programmes. The College has a strong sporting tradition and runs very successful teams in all major games.
