50+ years of sixth form education

During the 2024–25 academic year, Hills Road marked 50 years of sixth form education since our foundation in 1974.

Our 50th anniversary was an opportunity to celebrate the College’s history and the people who have been part of it. Throughout the year, we brought together students past and present, current and former colleagues, and friends of the College to reflect on five decades of Hills Road.

We marked the milestone in a number of ways, sharing stories, memories and experiences from across the years and celebrating the contribution our community has made to Hills Road’s history.

Our 50th anniversary gave us the opportunity to reconnect with many people who have been part of Hills Road over the years – and we want those connections to continue.
