University admissions tests
University admissions tests
Autumn admissions tests will be in a different format next year. We do not yet have any details except that they may take place during the October half term. STEP papers in Mathematics take place in June.
University Tests (Autumn)
Current Year 12 students will be emailed with details of how to apply for the tests. Applications usually open in the summer break and close in mid-September.
Former Hills Road students e.g. gap year: please email the College Exams Office in August.
Private candidates: We do not yet know if we shall be able to offer the new format tests to private candidates.
STEP
Current Year 13 Maths students: Please check your College email during the Spring term for details of how to apply to sit STEP 2 and/or 3 at Hills Road.
Former students (e.g. gap year): Please email the college exams office in February if you would like to apply to sit STEP 2 and/or 3 at college. Limited spaces only.
Private candidates: You will need to contact Cambridge Assessment Admissions Testing directly regarding available test centres. Last year schools were not allowed to take private candidates for STEP.
LNAT (Law National Aptitude Test) and UCAT (Medicine)
Please note these tests are not taken in schools or colleges. They are taken at Pearson VUE centres.
