Hills Road Sixth Form College Adult Education department is seeking to make a part-time appointment to join our vibrant team of Adult Education Administrators.

Salary: Pro-rata salary of £20,416 per annum (£29,346 FTE)

About the role

This is pivotal customer-facing role where you will be required to deliver exceptional customer service, as well as maintain meticulous records to ensure customer queries are dealt with quickly and efficiently. You will have the opportunity to engage with adult learners through responding to enquiries over the phone, by email and face-to-face.

As part of this role, you will also help to facilitate the counselling exams to ensure the seamless delivery of the College’s counselling programme. No exam experience is necessary, but strong organisational skills, the ability to work independently and a keen attention to detail is essential.

You must be IT literate, with excellent Microsoft Excel and Word skills. You will have experience in learning new IT systems, as the College has recently commissioned a new booking system and website to improve our customers’ experiences in booking their preferred courses.

You will possess good written and verbal communication skills and be confident in speaking to members of the public on a regular basis. As well as experience of working in a team, you must also have the confidence to work independently and with the ability to be proactive and responsive in a demanding environment.
