Adult Education Tutors: Counselling
We are looking for qualified and experienced counselling practitioners to join our team of counselling tutors at this well-established and very successful centre. Tutors are required to teach one or more evening classes / Saturday schools, as appropriate. Some courses may on occasion run during the school day.

Salary:
£32.93 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay) for introductory courses
£42.57 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay) for courses that lead to certification

About the role
We have been successfully running a range of part-time counselling courses for over 25 years and we are looking for experienced tutors to run courses for all levels, including:
- Introduction to Counselling Skills: 8-week course, 20 guided learning hours
- Certificate in Counselling Skills and Theory: 2 or 3 terms, 85 guided learning hours
- Level 3 Certificate in Counselling: 3 terms, 150 guided learning hours
- Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling: 7 terms, 310 guided learning hours
Teaching experience is desirable but not essential. All course materials will be provided.
Demand for places is high, with a high level of retention, recommendations from existing learners and a high achievement rate with often a 100% pass rate for internal and external assessments. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent quality, face to face learning in a supportive and encouraging environment, here on-site at the college close to Cambridge city centre.
Classes will commence in September 2025.
