Welcome to the Visual Arts at Hills Road

Each year our students produce a fantastic range of work, and we celebrate and showcase this in the main exhibition in June. This is a real highlight and is attended by both parents and the general public, as well as our incoming Year 11 students so that they too can really get a feel of the life of the department. We also stage a lively fashion show where students model their own creative designs and constructions.

During the College year there are also many opportunities for students to get involved with projects beyond the curriculum with a variety of competitions, commissions and public arts projects. Students have led initiatives with a number of local primary schools and the Milton Hospice.

When Year 13 students move on to greater things we record their work for our web galleries to reach a wider audience, to inspire our current students and to help maintain the tradition of imagination and creativity made possible by the opportunities offered at the College in the Art and Design department.
