Study Skills Centre

The Study Skills Centre has a wide variety of resources to help students with their learning and offers many different services, including the following:

  • Analysis of individual learning needs
  • Assessment of specific learning difficulties
  • Individual and small-group support for a variety of needs, including: study skills (handwriting, time management, essay writing, concentration, motivation), working in a second language, dyslexia, dyspraxia, Asperger’s syndrome
  • Self-help books, advice leaflets
  • A study skills bulletin emailed each week to all students
  • A wide range of contacts with specialists such as educational psychologists, the Hearing Impaired Service, and the Visually Impaired Service
