Cross college christmas enrichment production. To commemorate the centenary of the onset of World War I, Hills Road is staging the first ever all-female production of Joan Littlewood’s fabulously satirical “Oh! What a Lovely War”. One hundred years ago most of the young men in this college would have been conscripted into the army. Few would have returned. A century on, the nation is still at war. We just can’t quite seem to kick the habit. Join us as a crazed female ‘barmy army’ re-imagines a modern classic. We invite you to the army training camp of the man-free future….. “Oh! What a Lovely War”.
