This Adult Education course starting on Saturday 25th February from 10am - 12 noon for five weeks, plus one practical session (date to be confirmed) is intended for prospective beekeepers. Students will learn about setting up an apiary and caring for a colony of bees. We will look at the life of the European honey bee and the various pests and diseases that affect them. We will also look at the method of extracting honey from the comb and production of other hive products. The course will involve a practical session handling a colony of bees. Cost £60.

This one-day course is for students who wish to learn the fundamentals of accounting for the small business using SAGE. Particular attention will be given to the Sales, Purchase and Nominal ledgers. Cost £45.
