Street Child Cricket World Cup
Hills Road students, Kane Blake, Naomi Cooper-Jones and Ollie Roberts have volunteered their time to help the Street Child United cause at the Street Child Cricket World Cup at Parkers Piece on 4th and 5th May.
Street children from countries around the world, including Bangladesh, Democratic Republic of Congo, Mauritius, Nepal, North India, South India and Tanzania have arrived in Cambridge to play against each other with four of those teams then playing semi-finals and a final at Lords Cricket ground in London on Tuesday 7th May.
The event on Parkers Piece will include live music including a samba band and there will also be a lots of art and creative activities for people to take part in.
