We are delighted to learn that, for the twenty-fifth successive year, the College has held its position at the head of the sixth form college A level tables for 'points per entry'.
This year’s score of 41.7 signifies that our average grade continues to exceed B, and we remain the only sixth form college ever to have achieved this level, the next best this year being 36.6 (B-).
The College also remains ever-present at the very top of the sixth form college ‘facilitating subjects’ table, which is based on the percentage of students achieving at least AAB at A level in at least two of the Russell Group's 'facilitating subjects'.
Linda Sinclair, Principal, said “Our students deserve our warmest congratulations on the hard work and dedication that led to these outstanding results.”
“I would also like to pay tribute to all my colleagues. The College is extremely fortunate to have staff of such high calibre and enthusiasm who work tirelessly, not only to sustain the highest academic standards, but also to support the huge range of other activities that are such an essential part of College life.”
